Her father glared over, "A mortal?"

Casey yawned, slightly.

"It's not like it's such a big deal. Mama is mortal." She said coldly.

Daniel soon fell asleep.

"But do you know the trouble it is?"

"I'm aware of the trouble. It's not like it matters though because I am nothing but trouble, especially for you Papa."

He rolled his eyes. "Have I heard correctly? Are you here to challenge me? I have no problem in killing you."

Domino growled lowly at this.

"You know the prophecy. You're the one who ordered for that stained glass window in the Church that displayed this prophecy to be taken down and destroyed," She took something out of her pocket. It was a piece from the window, it displayed a girl with fiery hair standing above a man. She caressed it gently. "Papa, I don't want to be the one that kills you. But, I guess I have to if you're going to keep acting like this. I remember when you and Mama used to sing me the birthday song on my birthday. Estas son las mañanitas que cantaba el rey David. He father growled. "Don't sing that song, Mija (Spell check? XD). You know the memories it brings. Someway, somehow, I cannot escape this prophecy now can I? You have to be that fiery haired girl."

"Si, Papa. I don't want to fight you, but either way the prophecy will be fulfilled, it can be a complete accident. It can be like in that Greek myth where Perseus killed his grandfather by accident, but it still followed the prophecy that the grandfather was trying to avoid." She dropped the stained glass on the floor and it shattered into many little pieces. "I don't want to kill you. You're still my father and I'm still your daughter. Te amo."

Her father stayed emotionless as he rolled his eyes. "It shall not be that way, I will prevail and avoid death."

"Unlike you, I believe what the oracle said. It makes my heart ache, bur I believe him." She said, looking down at the shattered shards of glass.

"I just simply refuse to believe it." He replied.

"Papa, what happened to you? You used to be the kindest man I've ever known. Now you're stone cold and have shut out your heart and your feelings. You've lost all love for Mama, I can tell. She tries to pretend like everything's fine but she knows it too. And I know that you two don't even sleep in the same bed anymore. What's wrong?"

Thoughts came and went so quickly, his head spun and soon he was up against the wall, shaking his head.
